Pregnancy symptoms stopped...help

I'm 7w4d. For the past few days, the morning sickness has almost completely stopped. Minimal pregnancy symptoms at this point, if any.

My ob needs me to come in tomorrow morning for an u/s. My husband is out of town. I'm beyond terrified.

Positive words please. Anyone been through this...and it turned out fine?

Re: Pregnancy symptoms stopped...help

  • I think it's completely normal for symptoms to come and go. My nausea got tons better suddenly around 8 weeks. Now I still have bouts out it almost daily. It's probably nothing to worry about, but at least you'll have an US tomorrow to confirm that. GL!

  • My morning sickness has dropped off over the last week or two and my breasts aren't as sore. At some point your body begins to adjust to the hormones. I saw my OB last Thurs and everything looked great. Also, I expressed my concerns to her about the lessening symptoms and she kind of laughed at me and told me everything was fine and not to worry. FX all turns out well tomorrow!

  • I've felt pretty great for the past 3 weeks with few symptoms. I still have food aversions but even those have gone from extreme to mild. I still have really site boobs in the night. I think everyone is different. I wouldn't take it as a bad sign.

  • Fx for you, I hope your appointment goes well
  • Mine have changed day to day. It is "weird" feeling good but it is not necessarily a bad thing! Enjoy the good days. Fx for a good appointment tomorrow.
  • I also think it's normal for symptoms to come and go. I didn't feel constant m/s until week 9. Keep positive!!
  • My symptoms come and go a lot. I'll go 3, 4, 5 days really feeling great and then I'll have a day like today where I feel like poop. At my ultrasound, everything looked great. :) good luck
  • I agree with all pp, symptoms come and go. Sometimes a good day and a decrease in symptoms is a good thing, catch your breath because you may get more symptoms in a day or two.

  • Everything pp said. Fx your appointment goes well!

  • Totally normal for symptoms to come and go although I know it is easier said than done. I was feeling horrible last week and felt pretty good over the weekend. I emailed my RE (I had already graduated) and he let me come in for a little scan today and all is well. I started feeling like crap again tonight!

  • I'm glad you have an u/s tomorrow just so you can see sonething, but I agree that it's normal for symptoms to come and go. I'm 10 weeks and about 2 weeks ago all the severe symptoms I was having have gotten better. Instead if constant nausea I have mild, occasional nausea. My boobs aren't really sore anymore. I am exhausted and bloated though. Good luck tomorrow, and hopefully our input makes you feel better so you can relax :)
  • My ms completely dropped off at 7.5 weeks and was gone for about a week. Now it's come back but I still get some days when it's really bad so I wouldn't read too much into it. I hope you are okay. FX!

  • Mine left for days around 6 or 6.5 weeks. Now I'm nauseous every day of my life lol
  • I only had nausea for about a week and a half around 6 weeks, although my gag reflex had returned since being pregnant so I have thrown up a couple times and I'm still starving all the time. My mw didn't seem concerned. GL at your appt tomorrow, I'm sure everything will be fine.

  • I was really worried about this a few weeks ago, and learned the same things you're hearing. It's totally normal for symptoms to come and go. Some of mine have come back, but others haven't. I had a good u/s yesterday and good blood work, so things are looking on track. Hope you have a great appointment today and can put your mind at ease.
