Last night i finally sat down to read the elite and already finished it!
Holy crap on a cracker! I loved it, i cant wait for the one to come out in may.
I have to admit i wanted to smack america for leading aspin on but getting pissed maxon was spent time with other girls even though she wouldnt commit.
I dont know if i like maxon or aspin. But i like maxon more than aspin
Re: @bellaoso the elite
I loved those books so much! I'm just dying for the new one.
If you guys are looking for another good thing to jump to, try the "Matched" trilogy. That is what I am currently reading. Similar dystopian theme, corrupt government overly involved in peoples' lives etc. The best bit? All 3 books are out so you don't have to wait for anything new.
I'm unfailingly team Maxon. I think Aspin is a whiner who makes bad choices and recklessly jeopardizes America. Maxon is exclusively awesome... well was, until that whole thing with the slutty contender. (Her name escapes me at this moment because my brain is full of the names from this new series at this exact moment.)
I can't wait for May!
Plus it made me crazy how he said she couldnt be a princess. Wow way to have faith in her.
I did love how the italian queen and americas father said they believed in her because she could bring about change and didnt think the other members of the elite could do that.
Delirium is amazing! As well as Divergent.
Looks like I need to pick this Elite series up as we seem to have the same taste in books!!
I'll admit I haven't liked Matched since the first book but I refuse to leave a series unfinished.
My favorite book of all time is The Giver and I felt like the author was completely unoriginal and copied all her ideas from it. Maybe I'm just too defensive of my favorite book but that left a bad taste in my mouth.
I started this series as part of a book club so now I'm trapped, lol.
The series "Elite" is from is actually the "Selection" series. "Elite" is just the 2nd book.
Gonna go look up the Delirium series now.
