In Home Childcare near Beloit/Rockford?

I live in Beloit and work in Rockford, IL.  My husband works in Delavan.  I am due with our first baby this July.  I have to go back to work in the fall (probably take a few extra weeks for maternity leave at the beginning of the year).  I want to put the baby in in-home day care, but I just have no idea where to start looking!  I have been searching online for days, but it doesn't really help.  Does anyone know anybody around the Northern Illinois near Rockford-Beloit area who watches infants during the day?

    Im in the La Crosse area. But we found a bunch of ppl on craigslist wgen we were looking. We then went and visited the places, checked referances and made sure to check court dockets!
