Either into the PnP nearby (sort of half in the bathroom/half out bc our bathroom is small, but where I can see her) or in the shower too if she can't stand the PnP
I work FT, so probably doesn't help here, but I shower in the mornings before getting DS up. On the weekends, if I need a morning shower, then he gets some "quiet time" for about 30 minutes in his crib while I get ready, or I wait until his afternoon nap. It just depends on the plans for the day. I've also brought him into the shower with me, but that's not something I like/want to do on a regular basis.
I typically shower after he goes to bed. But if I have to shower when he's awake, I have him in the bathroom with me and I bring stuff in for him to play with. I also shower super duper quickly in those case (no shaving).
I always shower and get ready before my kids wake up. It makes me feel ahead of the game plus I can enjoy a long shower. Its rare that this doesn't happen and if for some reason I don't shower prior to them waking up I would take one when the baby napped.
Thanks for the suggestions. I work full time and I think I'll probably have to just start waking up before she does.. I really need that morning shower to get me fully awake for the day because I'm just not a morning person. Our bathroom isn't that big, and she is now into everything.. so if I leave her loose she unrolls the toilet paper, digs around in the trashcan, pulls open the shower curtain, and tries to lift the toilet lid! Maybe I'll try the PnP just outside the door, but I think she'll probably cry since she doesn't like being contained. 13 months and she's excited about her newfound ability to zoom around the house!

Can't your DH watch her while you shower? Alternatively, you can shower before she wakes up (assuming that it isn't super early).
I have a much longer commute than DH and do DC drop off. We both get up at the same time though and he tends to DS while I shower, if he needs to. If DS is still sleeping, DH will sleep until it is time to wake him up.
I close the doors to all of the rooms giving him access to just the tv room and the bathroom. I plop him on the couch watching bubble guppies while he drinks his morning milk. 9 out of 10 times he sits quietly watching his favorite show. Sometimes, he'll come in to the bathroom looking for me, but usually by that time I'm almost done.
I usually take a bath with the door open. I stick her in the pack n play if it's around feeding time or I let her be free. Sometimes she'll come into the bathroom with me. Other times she'll just play right outside the door (I can see her). I also work FT so in the mornings, I try to take a bath while she's still asleep otherwise I take a quick bath while she has a bottle.

DH is not a morning person either. He wakes up at 4AM and has to be out the door by 4:30. He still showers at night. He washes his face to get fully awake for the day. Try showering at night. It really gives you so much more time in the morning and then you don't have to worry about LO.

I block him in the child-proofed bathroom with me. I just bring in a ton of toys and books and between that and him just cruising around the bathroom he is content.
I put him in the crib. I have a bucket of blocks that's only for this purpose, so he's happy with that because he's not bored with those blocks or that container. Or he just started being interested in books, so I toss a couple in there too.
If I absolutely must shower when no one is available to watch DS, I put him in the PnP and put Sesame Street (or some equally distracting kid show) on TV and leave the bathroom door open so I can hear him. And shower as quickly as possible, lol.
