I just fell!

I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and am totally taking advantage of the nice 54* day in Jersey. I was outside with my 2 year old when I slipped on a hill in my front yard. It was the only non-snow covered patch next to my driveway so I carried my son's quad down to the driveway through that patch. Well, it was muddy and down went the beached whale. I fell hard on my butt and since I was carrying his quad had no chance to break my fall. My butt hit and my back and head were next. Immediately I had a headache, and my back hurts but I didn't and on my stomach so I'm thankful for that. It just scared me. My neighbor is a nurse and came over to count kicks and tell me what to watch for. Of course if I start bleeding or have no movement I'll be calling the dr. Just had to share my scare with some ladies who understand.

    I'm sorry this happened. Keep track of fetal movements and look out for cramping and blood.

    How scary! Glad that you are feeling ok right now. Hope everything stays normal and baby stays active.

    Thanks everyone! Baby has been moving around as usual. I just so happened to have a shamrock shake in my fridge so I drank that he was bouncing all around! Lol. Thanks for your kind responses. :)

    Holy cow - I fell this weekend too.  It happened so fast, I'm not really sure how I did it, but I landed hard on the concrete garage floor. I landed on my left knee/hip/elbow.  I'm sore but baby continued to kick all weekend like nothing happened.    Be careful ladies!

    1st BFP-8/17/12!  Missed Miscarriage discovered @ 8 week US.  D&C.
    2nd BFP-2/13/13!  Blighted Ovum discovered @ 8 week US. Natural miscarriage.
    3rd BFP-5/22/13!  By early June, progesterone plummeting.  Another loss.
    August 2013 - started Donor Egg process, but surprise BFP with my own eggs.

    12/17/13 - 20wks 2 d - We're having a beautiful baby girl! Go Team Pink!

    05/03/14 - Bobbie Gloria was born at 39+6 weighing 6lb 14oz!
