Weekend Rewind...

What did you do this weekend?

Friday night we went out to dinner and went to the mall DH picked out a few things for his birthday. Saturday I went to some antique stores and cleaned the house. Sunday DH fixed ds's swing set (it blew over in the last storm we had; it's wooden). I took the leaf blower to the leaves and salts that was on the patio and the driveway. We were outside for most of the day and it felt good. We all slept good last night :)

    DD and I had a girls night Friday night. Saturday we went to her gym class and breakfast. In the evening DH & I went to dinner and movie and yesterday was Disney on Ice for her birthday. I think we had more fun than she did...and she cried when she realized we were going home lol!

    Saturday was good - swimming lessons then lunch with MIL, SIL, and her kids.  Sunday, LO started getting sick and then last night was awful.

    Saturday morning  our cleaning lady came (she comes once a month) and left around 12;00pm. DS was outside with H all day long. We had my parents and ILs over for dinner.

    Yesterday we went grocery shopping, I did our meal planning for the week and we went to the park for a while. I also planted some onions and tomatoes in my veggie garden.

    Friday: dinner at ILs

    Saturday: did all our grocery shopping and I got my long run in. Otherwise we hung out at home.

    Sunday: Went to the naval ship that is now a museum. It was a gorgeous day at the bay!

    Not fancy at all I still clean with her. She does more deep cleaning, she cleaned all the windows and window blinds and the floors.

    She used to come twice a week but it was costing a little more than we wanted to pay so she only comes in once a month to help me out.


    I love my veggie garden. I bough some green&yellow peppers and tomatoes to plant as well. We have fresh produce all summer long.

    I am itching to get my tomatoes, strawberry's, and cucumbers in! I will probably wait until after DS's birthday.

    Friday we did drinks after work for a co-worker's birthday.  I had a little wager going on how old the Bday girl was turning with two other co-workers-- I guessed 28 and they guessed mid 30s-- I was totally wrong!

    Saturday Josie had a birthday party -- it was at a locally historic carousel that has been restored.  She had a BLAST!! I was sort of green by the end of the party though-- she wanted to pretty much just stay on the ride.

    Yesterday we did some shopping.  I did wind up buying a gift for my 12 YO cousin (who is having a bday party next weekend).  We went with an Alex and Ani bracelet with her initial.  A lot of the kids are wearing those around here -- so hopefully she will like it!

    I planted 4 plants and had several berries but they were all small. My MIL said that the more the plants mature over the years the better berries you get. I intend on putting in at lease 4 more plants. So we will have 8. DS LOVED eating them out of the garden.

    Friday I played board games with my sister and the three kids.

    Saturday my sister slept in until 12:30 and I played/entertained/fed all three kids (her 2, my 1). Then I sent DD to a MNO and went and had dinner/drinks with a friend and then went shopping. It was my first kid-free night out since early January and it was amazing.

    Sunday my sister slept until 3pm, I played with/entertained/fed all three kids and then we wound up going to my parents house for dinner, which was an experience. Then we put the kids to bed and I cleaned.
