Well, I'm bummed. Found out that I don't qualify for the study. But if anyone is in the Northern CA Bay Area and interested in participating in the study, it's the Thrive Study (
https://tiny.cc/5ccdcx). UCSF will cover the cost for the ENTIRE cost of the IVF cycle (meaning provide ALL the meds as well as the retrieval and transfer) if you qualify. Basically your cost is your commute to the clinic and parking. Which if you make it through the entire study, they will reimburse you partially for your parking (I think it was like $100 or something like that). Must be between 21 and 38 and have had at least 3 failed IVF cycles: 2 of those failed cycles must have been fresh transfers. I've had 4 total IVF cycles, 3 failures, but only 1 of the failures was a fresh cycle. They told me that the "good news" is that they plan on continuing the study through to next year, so if I did another IVF cycle and it failed then I would qualify. Well, if I could afford to do another fresh cycle, I would've.

Ah well, back to lurking.
