Baked potato in crockpot

Does anyone do this?
I looked up a recipe and the woman went into detail about scrubbing, wrapping in tin foil, etc. She never once mentioned poking holes in the potato like you do for the oven. I'm assuming I still need to do this, right?
And ps- I love my crockpot more everyday. This has been a crazy couple of weeks at work and I've been making dinner in it every night.

    I've done it.  Just washed the potatoes and wrapped them in foil and dumped them in there on low for 8 hours or so.  They were perfect!
