I mean.. Seriously.. What the point of if anyway?? As if my sleep schedule isn't jacked up enough as it is- I lose an hour that takes FOREVER to regain. Blah. I'm crabby.
I was ticked off this morning when my cellphone alarm went off an hour earlier than it should have, because my phone some how auto-reverted to DST even though we are on Arizona time. Seven o'clock in the morning is not the time to be asking why your cell phone has two different times.
I don't feel the effects yet but it usually takes me a day or two. I am guessing that I will be dragging by tomorrow. Once I get used to it, I love Spring forward, but I just hate getting there.
I always find going forward harder than going back, especially when traveling. I'm grateful to be off work this week but poor DH has not been looking forward to today!
I think it's cute that they do the time change on Saturday night/Sunday morning so we feel like we have a day to adjust before the work week. And then we get slapped in the face with Monday morning. I just want to crawl back in bed...
A friend suggested that they should have the time change over on a Friday at 4 PM. That sounded reasonable to me!
DS refused to go to bedast night bc it was still daylight and gave me the hardest time waking up bc it was still 'night time'. The first week is just always a huge adjustment for us- I'd much rather 'fall back' than 'spring forward'- although I hate winter time. Plus- it should be a rule.. If it's time to 'spring forward' - it needs to be at least 70 degrees outside consistently. This 20-30 degree shit if for the birds.
I agree about the weather - we woke up to a nice little coating of snow today. Not cool.
DD did okay with bedtime, though it took her longer to fall asleep. As much as it sucks for me, I prefer the spring time change with a little one - the fall always brings 5-5:30 wake-ups for a good week and I just can't handle that!
DS wouldn't go to sleep last night because it was too early, which the fight ended up lasting longer than the time difference so he went to bed later than he normally does. Then this morning I'm dragging because of the change and then can't wake DS up to get him ready for daycare. I think I'm seeing a slight glimmer of what the teenage years might hold for me!
I woke up early yesterday and couldn't go back to sleep. Then I could hardly stay awake at night. I still had to drag myself out of bed today. I hate the daylight savings time!
My state is trying to do away with the whole daylight savings crap, keeping us at the "summer hours". I'm really hoping they agree to do this. I hate when it gets dark early. It makes me feel like there's nothing to do...

DS woke up at te butt crack of dawn and then fell back to sleep and he's still sleeping!! I feel like a sloth. My body doesn't want to function at all today. Plus baby girl has been SUPER active so of course I was up all night.

Same! Then this morning we had a huge fiasco waking up. DS SWORE it was still sleepy time bc it was dark outside.
When I was in college I thought END of daylight saving was pretty fun.... clock turning = extra hour to drink at the bar. Those were the days.......*noms listlessly at a cookie and wishes it were a cocktail*
We are travelling at the moment and it is really screwing things up. Home is East Coast and we're on Central Time right now. Talk about screwy! LO's nap schedule is pretty much wrecked as soon as we get home in a few days.
