Play date from hell

DS is on a kindergarten basketball team. He became friendly with one of the other kids and the family invited our family over for a dinner and play date. We got there about 5. The kids played (DD was invited) the grown ups talked. We had a lovely dinner and dessert. After dinner I was in the kitchen helping clean up when I heard my DS crying. Then I hear my husband call me and say "oh my g-d!!" I turn around and blood is GUSHING from DS' forehead. DS yells "He threw a toy at my head on purpose!!" We rush DS to the bathroom. Blood is literally spurting/pulsating from his head and running down his face. I was already preparing myself for a night in the ER and stitches. DH applied pressure and was able to stop the bleeding after a few minutes. Turns out it was a pretty small gash. He also has a bruise/bump under it. I actually felt really bad for the kid and the other family. The kid felt really bad and insisted on giving DS toys and cupcakes. What an effing night it turned out to be!!
