Update- Visits & Outings during the first 2 months

My 5 week old, about to be six week old is now hospitalized with two different strains of the flu, how does that happen?! RSV was negative but now awaiting results from pertussis as well because he has a horrible cough. I wasn't sure if to bring him last night, but I'm glad we did.

We barely took him and had just family and some friends come over. No strangers ever touched him. I'm convinced now that you need to sequester children until 2 months at home except for a occasional walk by yourself.

Update: 3/10 6pm

We're getting released tomorrow!! The tamiflu dispensing will be finished at home. He's still stuffy and coughing, but I will suction at home, using a nose frida. On the way to getting better. Thanks for your Thoughts and prayers!

My little guy (7 weeks) got rsv, which comes with an awful cough. It has been terrible. Don't beat yourself up. He is my second baby and my first is two. There was no way around the germs for my baby!!! I am a germophobe so it sucks but we have to get out of the house and do things. Good luck to you and your baby!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! I feel so guilty that I exposed him to this. So far he's controlled in the hospital. Hope to have a positive update soon.
