Who has the higher sex drive? You, or SO? Not just now, but on a regular basis. How do you/they deal when the desire/ability doesn't match up with the 'need'? Do tell!

Meh I misread the post. We are normally about even (a couple times a week) and it's always been AMAZING. like six years in, it's like we first met. However, pregnancy has destroyed my libido. I just don't feel sexy and have the hardest time getting in to it most of the time. DF is very understanding but I wish the hormones weren't effecting sex so much.

Usually, DH's drive is much higher than mine. However, second trimester has kinda evened the score.

I normally want it more often than he does. However, the more he gets it, the more he wants, so in general it's just a question of us making the time and him being open to it initially to get us on more even footing! Pregnancy kills my libido, so then he wants it more. Part of the problem is also that I want it at night, and he wants it in the morning. We both make an effort and we both understand that there are times when we just won't match. Honestly, I have the link to literotica favorited on my phone and on nights when I want it and he doesn't/won't, I get myself off. He always stays up later than I do, so it's easy enough to take care of myself without worrying about him walking in on me or lying in next to me feeling bad.

I normally want it more, but pregnancy has made it more even because my drive has decreased. We used to do it 2-3 times a week and we are at about once a week now. I used to be the primary initiator but now he is.

Like @merie412, it was an issue towards the beginning of the relationship. I would actually feel hurt sometimes because it felt that he wasn't that interested in me sexually.

Usually DH wants it more but right now we are pretty evenly matched. I need all the sex right now. Except my vag doesn't agree as I'm usually sore for a few days afterwards.

I voted about the same, although there have been ebbs and flows over the years. I think we are both generally happy but wish our schedules allowed for a little more together time.

Mine has always been higher. In the early years it annoyed me because I thought all teen/young men were supposed to be horndogs. When he's in college, working full time, and trying to co-parent with me, sometimes it's 2 weeks between times because he's exhausted. Me? I'm ready at the mention of sex. I've often been pissed off when he's fallen asleep 30 minutes after having grabbed my ass or rubbed up against me, without following up. I demand no less than once a week, I refuse to be that couple that goes months.

Now, when he's been away on deployment, work ups, trainings, etc things are wild when he comes home. We have morning time, he'll come home on lunch, and we're at it again as soon as the kids go to bed. It's like we try to cram 7 months into one week. Eventually we fall back into our pattern though.

I have a very low sex drive. H has a very high sex drive. It's one of our biggest issues. Now neither of us want it thanks to the awkwardness of pregnancy sex.

Normally I'm much much higher then he is but now I think we both are even at next to nothing.

I can't stand his scruffy face now and never had problem with it before. Now I can't do it. Hard to even kiss him. So his way of not doing it is to not shave. I tell him no sex until he does shave. Normally he shaved twice a week. Now it's been three times since being pregnant he has shaved.

We're about the same. Pre-pregnancy we both wanted it a few times per week but lately he's been stressed by new responsibilities at work so his drive has decreased, and I'm starting to get pretty uncomfortable with my body. Because of all that, sex (or occasionally lending him a hand... or mouth

) is a weekend thing.

The both of us have just been too exhausted for sexy time, and when we are in the mood, and once I get mine, I am so sensitive that I can barely hang in there long enough for DH to get his. I miss my libido, but right now sleep usually wins.

Pre-pregnancy, DH was way higher. Like he would want it almost every day. But now that I'm pregnant, his has decreased a little and mine has increased drastically (at least since start of 2nd tri) so now we are pretty much even. He likes to drag out the days that we have don't have sex sometimes though to give me a taste of what it felt like for him.. Haha stupid hormones!

Pre-pregnancy he was always a bit higher. He liked every other day and my norm is like 2x/week. With pregnancy my drive has tanked

. I'm just uncomfortable with the RLP during and the cramping afterwards. Mood killer!

We have been having sex 1-2x/day lately with a few breaks here and there. I can't seem to get enough. Pregnancy is about the only time I am brave enough to order erotic lingerie/toys so I have a new lingerie set being shipped now and can't wait to put it to use.

I wish my drive was this high all the time but sadly it is short lived.

My husband is a police officer as well and I've always tried to convince him to come home for duty booty! But he is too worried something crazy will happen and he will get called out in the middle of it ;-)

Plus, I think I feel some sense of urgency because pregnant sex > sex with a newborn and milky boobs and sleep deprivation. Ha.

When we see each other my fiance and me can match each other

we don't get to see each other alot though so thats probably why. i think id probably be higher if we were on a normal schedule. only 3 months until ill find out!!!!

DH's is definitely higher than mine, PG or not. I can literally think of one time that I was interested and he was not, and still he gave it the ole college try...

Because of this, i never have issues with him taking care of himself and will sometimes "help" if I'm not too tired. Also, I try to make sure I'm in the mood at least once a week for the sake of both of our sanities.

I've been on pelvic rest this entire pregnancy but technically was released off of it Friday since my previa moved. I think we are past the point of trying, I think it's been too long and DH is too scared of something bad happening. It doesn't help I'm pretty large now too
