Night light for car seat?

Is there such a thing that's safe to use around the car seat? DH and I travel back and forth from NC to SC a lot, and I don't like not being able to see LO at night when traveling. The interior light wouldn't work for us. Any suggestions?

    I wondered this. DD also can't stand not seeing herself in the mirror. She hates car rides at night.

    How about just bringing one of the portable night lights from the house? We have a Circo one that has a pretty good battery life and doesn't get warm.

    DS loves his brica mirror with lights and music. I know they say its more dangerous to have a mirror but I feel like its more dangerous not to be able to see my son at all. So the mirror is my friend:)

    I have been wondering this as well. We already have a mirror but I would love to find a light to go on/near it.
