Am I doing this right?

I broke down and bought one today. LO wasn't quite sure at times and fussed some so I wasn't sure if she just needs to get used to it or I'm doing it wrong.

I use a blanket under his butt, to give him a bit more height and Sometimes I leave his arms out. He fells asleep in it today

When wearing LO on your back,where should his face be? I tried putting him on H's back, and I feel like he was really low, maybe 6" or so below the base of his neck.

I've only done the front hold so far so I can't speak from experience but from the pictures in the instructions it looks like lo should be positioned at the same height for the back hold as with the front hold.

This is me wearing DS. Technically they are supposed to be 6 months or twenty pounds but DS loves it and I actually didn't know that until after I did it. Oops!
