Spider vein surprise

I went to get a pedicure yesterday (it's been a while and we're getting close to d-day) and I noticed some spider veins by my ankles that I had NEVER seen before. Then I found three more starburst spider veins on my calf! What the heck is going on here... I know it's been a while since I've closely examined my legs but it seems like it just came out of nowhere. Do these go away after pregnancy? How long does it usually take to go away?

    It's very common to get spider veins during pregnancy.  And sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but no, they usually don't go away.

    I know it's common but these seem to have popped up overnight and a few things online say that they mostly fade away within a few months after pregnancy. I'm just wondering if any of you ladies have had them fade away or whether it's only a really small percentage of people who experience that.

    I got spider veins on my thigh and calf during this (my third) pregnancy at about 20 weeks. At 10 days postpartum they are almost gone, so there's hope!
