How far along are you? 28 weeks

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? I passed my GTT! I had my 2nd growth scan wednesday, measuring in the 53% so we are right in the middle. I also got put on the monitor for an NST because I mentioned that he wasn't moving as much as he normally does, the whole time at the Drs I hardly felt anything. So they monitored him for a while, I guess mostly for my peace of mind, because they kept telling me it was very early for a NST and he might not be responsive. I also have my regular OP appointment Monday.

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions? All I want to eat is sweets!

QOTW: What do you plan on packing in your hospital bag and when do you plan to pack it? Was there anything you didn't have last time that you wish you had? I don't plan on packing a bag this time. I'll have my make-up bag in my purse with all my everyday essentials; contacts, deodorant, travel toothbrush. Last time I was in the hospital for 3 days and didn't need anything, so I'm not planning to bring anything this time. Maybe I'll change my mind later on, but right now my plan is not to plan.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I have been thinking about putting an announcement on FB. I think it might be kind of important for me to tell people that this pregnancy doesn't "fix" things and that it's really hard, and this baby doesn't replace our daughter, but that we are grateful to be here.

It's just hard to take that step.

I'm in my 30th week.

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones?

Ultrasound/NST on Tuesday.

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions?

Sore. Very sore. My back, hips, legs, feet... I've been very emotional lately as well.

QOTW: What do you plan on packing in your hospital bag and when do you plan to pack it? Was there anything you didn't have last time that you wish you had?

For me: nursing bras and nipple cream, my nursing pillow, breast pump, pj's, slippers, toiletries, pads, and a camera/charger.

For baby: sleepers instead of outfits (since they are easier to get baby in and out of when the nurses come to check her), swaddle blankets, going home outfit, diapers, and Vaseline for baby's bum (the first poo is like black tar!!)

I should probably pack it pretty soon.

I had a very rough day yesterday. I'm completely emotionally drained. It was Ian's 3rd Angelversary. I posted his pic on FB and someone reported it as "containing graphic violence". FB didn't take it down but it was still very hurtful. Wish there was a way to know who reported it...

I am so sorry that someone did that! You were so brave to put something so personal out there and then to get a hurtful response seems so unfair. I hope it wasn't someone you know personally, and maybe it came up in some one else's news feed when one of your friends liked it or commented on it. Still, that just sucks.

How far along are you? 38 weeks 1 day

Do you have any upcoming appointments or milestones? An NST today, next week are my last appts before my induction.

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions? I have an aversion to work, I can't stand being here anymore. After today, just four more days.

QOTW: What do you plan on packing in your hospital bag and when do you plan to pack it? Was there anything you didn't have last time that you wish you had? It's packed except for some last minute items that I have a list for. I packed toiletries, a couple outfits for LO for pics and going home, receiving blanket, mittens and a hat in case it's really cold, jammies for me after the birth (I wore the gown last time, but thinking after my shower it would be nice to be in my own clothes) and going home clothes for myself. Last time I wished I had lotion because the skin around my eyes were so raw from crying....there will be tears, but I don't plan on crying as much this time.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? Analyzing every symptom, hoping it means labor is on its way. It's funny because when people say "I think she's coming this weekend, or tonight" I'm like no, I don't think so and I actually hope not. But when I feel what might be a contraction, I get excited. I guess because people predicting when she'll come based on when THEY want her to come is annoying, lol. Come on your own time baby girl.

Any pregnancy symptoms or pregnancy cravings or aversions? Everything is just becoming a little more uncomfortable every day.

QOTW: What do you plan on packing in your hospital bag and when do you plan to pack it? Was there anything you didn't have last time that you wish you had? Haven't packed yet, but I have a list. Clothes, toiletries, nursing stuff for me, a couple outfits and blanket for baby and snacks! Last time, we had been living at the hospital for 2.5 weeks, and DH was going home every day to shower and would bring back whatever I wanted/needed. (We ended up with a lot of stuff there!)

I will be 17 weeks on Monday. Next appt is March 18. I am feeling some flutters and really hoping they will pick up because my last moss was between 15-20 weeks and I so want to get past that 20 week milestone. (not being in control is so v difficult) On the happier side, I have not packed yet but brainstorming it will be fun to pack with my 8 year old daughter. She'll have her own camera too so that will be fun.

@mrsnice I'm so very sorry that someone flagged you. It was very brave of you to post a picture. I haven't worked up the courage and have only posted pictures of their handprints/footprints.

MFM appt and ultrasound on Monday. They'll measure the babies so I'm excited to see how much they've grown.

I haven't started packing yet. I really need to do that though because it could happen any time now and I don't want someone else trying to get my stuff together.

Open Topic. What is on your mind this week? I'm starting to get very nervous about the possibility of having a csection. I really don't want a csection at all, but my babies are being stubborn about getting into a good position.

@aragosta, congratulations! Good luck with your second betas! I was similar with our hospital bag. I am a crazy planner and with Kayla I packed it around 21 weeks, and then went into labor and lost her at 22 weeks. This time I refused to pack it until we got to a "safe" point, which I think was around 34 weeks, which is the point where if born, most babies won't even need NICU.
