Anyone have any experience with these car seats? I keep coming back to this seat as an option for my son (22 months).  He is currently in a Britax Advocate ( I know about the shorter shell) and I want to extended RF.  I was thinking to get a Radian for him and move my daughter (9 months) to the Advocate (which maybe be replaced later on down the road).  Also does anyone know if I can find this car seat in store somewhere so that I can look at it?

  • Love love love it! I moved my DD from the Britax marathon to the radian at 23 months. She has so much more leg room and is still happy RFing. Moved DS to the marathon. It's so easy to get her in and out of with the low sides. I have a small/mid size SUV and it fits without the angle adjuster.

  • @jesselayne8 Thanks so much for the feedback especially since you were in a similar situation.

  • @cesmiley I am not sure what percentile he is in but I would say he is small height-wise for his age.  He is 32 inches, 29 pounds and 22 months.

  • @cesmiley I have heard the argument about kids outgrowing it height-wise before getting to booster stage but only for the model that has the wings (I think the RXT)

  • I loved it so much for Max that I bought 2 more for my twins. I like their safety rating and theyfit easily into our car.  Max is tall (90th percentile), so I will see if he outgrows it before we reach the booster stage. That might be a concern for Ben since he was the size of an 18 month old at his 6 month apt.

  • I think you are fine. DD was 35in at her 2yr app. She has consistently been in the 70th %tile.

  • I love it... We have 3 and have ordered a fourth so we will have it when LO#4 arrive in September. Our kids are short like Momma and Daddy so no worries on that for us!! Birth dates of kiddos are in my soggy but for mobile users they're 4 (Dec 2009), 2 (Nov 2011), and 9 months (May 2013). DD#3 has been in hers since birth as will LO#4.

Absolutely in love with our 'big' family!

I'm also a proud Auntie to a crazy little girl, her brand new baby sister, a little man on his way in the next month, and a sweet little mister we will miss forever!!!
