This is the weekly June '14 PgAL check-in. This is a place for anyone due June 2014 that has suffered a previous pregnancy loss. PgAL is an exciting but scary place so please feel free to share your thoughts, concerns, milestones and vents. Mostly, this check-in is to remind all of us that we are not alone in the journey and to offer support along the way. Check-in is every Saturday.

    @sa1112 / June 21st – How did the GD test go?  How did setting up the nursery go?

    Glucose test went well, I passed! The drink wasn't as bad as I thought it would be either.

    The nursery is now painted with thanks to DH and my dad :) we're setting up the crib tomorrow so it should be finished after this weekend. I'll post pics next week!

    I'm 25 weeks today and everything is going well.Physically the morning sickness seems to finally be easing up a bit, thankfully! Emotionally everything is starting to feel so real with doing the nursery, looking into pediatricians and signing up for classes!

    @kimmyberly26, we live in Buffalo and it gets pretty hot and humid here in the summer! Our nursery is on the second floor which turns into a sauna during the summer! I can't wait for central a/c!!!

    Everything is going pretty good this week. I'm starting to feel more kicks on the outside but DH has yet to feel him and I think he's getting a little discouraged! It's kinda crazy to be officially in the 3rd tri, I can't believe how much closer I am to meeting my little boy!!!

    Hi!  I'm new here :)  Well, I introed back in September to the board, but I had a really hard time PgAL wise up until recently.

    I have two kids.  My daughter will be 3 in June and my son will be 2 in May.  My son was just diagnosed with autism and will be starting therapy on Monday.  My daughter is crazy and will be starting pre-school in September.

    I am due June 3, but I would be surprised if I make it to June at all (both of my kids were born a few weeks early).  We are expecting a boy this time around and so far all is well with the pregnancy aside from low progesterone early on and GD.  

    It's good to be here!

    DD born 6.13.11 at 37w5d

    DS born 5.23.12 at 36w5d

    BFP 6.9.13|heartbeat of 128bpm 7weeks|7.23.13 ultrasound revealed no heartbeat|natural m/c and d&c 7.25.13

    @kimmyberly26 - Thanks for doing the check in!  How are you doing this week?

    Yay for moving to a bigger place.  Is Lucia feeling better now? : Thanks for asking.  Lucia is thankfully doing much better.  It was a really rough week/weekend.  She ate pretty much nothing (maybe 1 apple slice per day on average), and was just so lethargic and sick looking.  But her fever broke last Sunday, and by Wednesday she was eating again.  She's now back to her old self, except with a few bad habits from being sick (like wanting to be carried all the time, and wanting to sit on my lap to eat).  

    Pregnancywise things are going well.  I can't believe I'm 25 weeks already.  I'm getting really excited for bringing a new little girl into our lives.  

    Physically my pelvic bone area is killing me, and I still have heartburn, but otherwise I've been doing well.  I am eating all the time, even though I'm not hungry, so I need to work on that.  I was doing well with my weight/health and I don't want to screw it all up in the last 15 weeks.  I need to go in for my GD test sometime in the next few weeks, though I'm not sure when (wish they had weekend hours!).  

    I hope everyone is having a great week!

    @kimmyberly26- thanks for the weekly check in- how are you doing?


    This week was tough for me as it is when I miscarried last year. Ironically the baby shower invites were sent out on the exact day of my MC and my aunt that's hosting it has no idea we went through a loss. Things work in mysterious ways...

    Luckily baby has been moving around a ton and making me feel better about everything. I am having a hard time believing that it's just ~13 weeks away!

    The warmerish weather is also getting me excited that spring is on the way and we will all be meeting our rainbow babes soon!

    Hi ladies!

    I think I passed my GD test this week since I didn't get a call yesterday.  Hopefully anyway!  I failed by 1 point with DS, so I'm hoping with this one I don't have to do the 3 hr. 

    I didn't quite realize just how far along I was until my Dr. said we were going to start appts every 2 weeks now.  Wow.
