Daycare/Sitter/Grandma - all in one week - bad idea?

We will be having #3 in July and I am considering all options for this baby when I go back to work.  DD and DS will be in school full days.  Has anyone every done daycare part-time (ie. MWF) and a nanny/family the other 2 days?  What was your experience?  I feel like it might be hard to keep baby on a consistent schedule everyday.  Of course, I know babies schedules vary quite a bit over the first year so does it really matter?  I may just go full-time daycare or the nanny route, but thought I would get any input on this sort of setup first.  Thanks.

    We do DC 3 days a week and use my SIL the other 2 days. We've been doing this since DS was 6 months old. His schedule has been all over the place when he's not with us but somehow he has adapted. He was down to one nap at daycare, for example, since probably before 12 months old but was taking 2 naps a day at home and my SILs until 17 months. That being said, his napping at daycare was never the best. He pretty much catches up on sleep over the weekend. But he's done well and it is possible. He's cared for at both have places and that's what matters most.

    ~ More testing - hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy & more b/w - all normal / negative~

    Surprise BFP while waiting on FET #3 ~ beta #1 500; beta #2 1600; first u/s 4/3 - measuring 5w5d, no hb yet!; 2nd u/s 4/10 - hb 132, measuring 6w6d - EDD 11.29.14 :)    **TEAM GREEN!**

    I work retail and DH had a 9-5 until DS 10mos, SAHD for a year, then a PT overnight job after that. We used a pay by the hour center for up to 20 hours a week  and my mom mostly for various half days we needed. The combination of days was never the same from week to week and DS did great with it, even with that gap of a year of staying home with his dad.

    DS is in DC W-Fr. Monday with me, Tuesday with my parents. Can you do 3 days in a row for DC that way it's consistent. DS has been on this schedule since 12w and will be 5 at the end of the month. It works well for us. DS2 will have the same schedule.
