I asked for a play kitchen and an activity cube. A wagon would be fun too, as well as a swing for outdoors (the seat part for little kids... we have a swing set). Clothes, too.
Books, puzzles, outdoor toys like bubbles, riding/push toys, sprinkler, etc.
This exactly. Perfect range of price and activity level.
If somebody thinks they're a hedgehog, presumably you just give 'em a mirror and a few pictures of hedgehogs and tell them to sort it out for themselves.-Douglas Adams
I have been telling most people books. She really doesn't need much. The ones who have been asking don't have kids so I don't want to overwhelm them with items. The ones who do have kids haven't asked.
I asked for stuff for the swimming pool (floating devices or swimsuit). We plan to get our DD a bike trailer so we can take her for rides this spring/summer.
I am asking for a sun proof hat (my DD is still pretty bald) and we are going to spend a lot of time outside this spring/summer. Also asking for shoes. We already have way too many toys from my DS so she is getting a few girly toys- Little People Disney Princess castle and princesses. I may ask for some more musical instruments or something where she can use fine motor skills... she seems to really love music and is very good with fine motor skills.
@Lhyacinth888 We already bought DD the Little People Disney Princess castle for her birthday too. She got the Princess set from us for Christmas.
My Mom is the only one who asked, and she's getting clothes -- but I told her DD needs a spring jacket and then anything else spring/summer in 18 months. She's in mostly 12 months now, so I figure by the time it warms up, she'll be in the next size. She also needs PJ's for warmer weather, so we'll suggest that too.
Other than that, I'll probably tell people more Little People stuff (I think the Klip Klop sets are adorable!), puzzles, etc. I'd love for her to get either an activity cube or table as well. Maybe outdoor stuff like bubbles, water toys, etc.
