LO got her 2 month shots yesterday. She slept most of the day so her schedule is off. I'm just going with the flow to see how she reacts to her vaccinations.
So she's up eating for the first time. I'm kinda anticipating being up multiple times, but find it's easier when your mentally prepares to do do vs expecting another 6 hour night. Just hoping she'll give me another 4 hour stretch.

Haven't been down yet this evening - she's def a night owl!! I'm about to fall asleep sitting here so I'm crossing my fingers for a sleepy baby soon.

Gavin got 4 shots today. He slept the whole time afterwards (about 5 hours) and then woke up screaming bloody murder! I finally gave him Tylenol but he continued to scream for 30 mins. Finally we swaddled and turned on the vacuum to help him calm down. He's sleeping in my arms right now, but who knows how long this will last. Poor little guy.... It kills me that I can't do more to help

Thanks! I've been around but haven't posted too much. Gavin still like to sleep no longer than 2 hours at night, so I try to sleep when possible. How's B doing?

I totally get the looking like H thing. Everyone constantly says Gavin looks just like mine.... Booooo stinky boys!

My chunker was 13 lb 9 oz today...... Big boy likes to eat!

So I took the arms in swaddle advice and Sophia has been asleep for 4 hours and counting. Now this mama just needs to go to sleep...

I remember reading about that, maybe in the FWP thread? I'm sorry to hear about your aunt but that's good that he will get to meet her. Sending good thoughts for a easy trip with him and your mom.

After going to bed at midnight last night and then having a cranky baby up from 1:30-4am, yesterday was pretty rough! I was up at 6am getting DS ready for school so I had like no sleep at all. Blah. Anyway, I went to bed at 9pm last and already feel so much better. DD is up nursing now and I'm hoping she goes back down after this for another 4-5 hour stretch. We'll see. The 6 week growth spurt is no fun!

Just got up 15 minutes ago to nurse. DS2 went to sleep at 9:40. He was fighting sleep so bad so I placed him swaddled in the RNP and he fell asleep himself! I could not believe it! Good thing he fell asleep bc DS1 woke up 20 minutes later and needed to be cuddled for about 30 minutes. Which was fine but DH was out with friends. I'm just glad the two didn't need me at the same time.

About 3 minutes ago I realized that I was using one eye and squinting to read my phone. What I do when I'm not wearing my glasses. But I am wearing my glasses, so that was completely unnecessary. Just really exhausted, which I'm sure everyone on this board can relate to.

DD had shots yesterday and slept all day. I was expecting it so I made no to-do lists or plans for myself and stayed in bed with her. It was great. She slept for about 4 hours and is nursing now. I hope the Thai food I ate for dinner doesn't upset her tummy.

Up again here. Think LO needs yo tank up after sleeping most of the day. It had only been an hour since last feeding so had DH try and put her down but that didn't work. While he was doing that I let indie out and she whined going up and down our stairs... Not good.

DD slept so good last night and then all day she napped pretty well. She seemed tired and wasn't very happy most of the time she was awake. So of course tonight we are up every 2 hours. I am feeling tired and I'm afraid of falling asleep while holding her and that is more of an issue when we are up so feequently.

Up with DS. DH and I had our first date last night! Went to dinner and saw Non-Stop with Liam Neeson. It was actually pretty good!

The sitter gave J his last feeding around 915, so I pumped when I got home. Of course that doesn't fully empty me so poor LOis over here trying not to drown while he eats.

FX for more sleep again! I'm throwing a baby shower tomorrow and would like to be mentally present.

Up nursing after a 5 hour stretch! Hoping to get another one because tomorrow is the big girl's opening ceremony and first softball game, and we ALL could use the sleep!

Up here again. Gavin slept for about 4 hours, and now is eating while I pump. His poor little thighs are so swollen

makes me a sad mama. After I finish pumping it will be another round of Tylenol and back to bed! Hopefully so screaming occurrs before then

Fourth feeding tonight and it is only 3 in the morning. Lo is a snacker and eats 15 to 20 times a day. He also doesn't sleep much unless he is on my chestt. It doesn't maybe if he is swaddled, arms in or out, he just doesn't like to sleep.

Omg, I ate something and sitting on the bowl while SO is trying to console DD, but she wants mommy. #momproblems when your baby wants you, but you have bathroom obligations.

L went down around 11:30 (way later than usual-long story that I won't get into) and woke up at 2. He's still wide awake rocking in my arms after nursing.
FX he falls asleep soon!

After the failed night last night, I decided to use the halo sack today since Abby breaks free from the a&a swaddle (even the happy baby on the block one, but pretty sure it is due to human error , I can't get it tight enough). I was scared of the halo swaddle before becomes it seems so tight but now I realize that's the idea and she likes it. She took a 2.5 hour nap today with it. Now tonight has been a little different. Bedtime began at 10 and she was cranky. After some cuddling, she was asleep. Put her in the mini crib to be on a flat surface (finally) and she starts off sound asleep but wakes about 15 minutes not happy. We did this till a little after midnight. I would try comforting her, she would fall back sound asleep and then wake up very upset. I think around midnight or 1, I fed her, and put her on my chest to burp and I fell asleep, she is wearing the halo sack but not swaddled in it. We woke up at about 3:30 for a diaper change and she ate. She is sound asleep on me so in a few minutes, I will swaddle her back up and try the mini crib/flat surface/most hated place in a few minutes and see if I have any luck. I'm hoping, someday, I will get real sleep again.
Hope that those of you having a rough night, it gets better! Those that LO had shots today, that they feel better. Abby has her 2 shots/8 vaccinations on the 18th and I'm pretty nervous with the updates lately! Those of you getting long sleep stretches, hope it continues!! Will your LO talk to mine, please!!!

This is my second time up and we have been up an hour already. She is comfort nursing and every time I put her down she is up again. Dh has already put her down once. Ugh its been a battle the past 5 nights our so. I have lost count of the bad ones. That it number the good.

Is there a 8 week growth spurt? I don't remember if there is or not. Sleep deprivation has the best of me.

Sounds like a lot of us are having rough nights. C'mon LOs, mommies need sleep!

@rojovol34 we went for a walk to! It was nice. I tried the ergo carrier out for the first time. She seemed to like it.

Sounds like a growth spurt to me, sorry I'm mobile I don't know how old your LO is. Mine did this a week ago, the 6th week growth spurt, hang in there it will get better.

First time up, DS did awesome except I feel bad when they do these long stretches cause his diaper was full. He went a whole 6 hours. He did however take 90 min to settle down for bed from 8pm-930pm, but just woke up at 330am, which is crazy!! Of course I didn't get to bed until 1am, ha ha!! Maybe I can nap today.

Second time up to pump... On the weekends, I've decided that I'll pump while DH gives the bottle, vs me doing both on weeknights. However, I'm going back to work in 3 1/2 weeks (where did the last 9 weeks go?!), and when LO started crying I said to DH, ok, you go feed him, I'm going downstairs to pump. His response? "You want me to get this feeding too? We have to figure something out before you go back to work!" Um dude it's called having a baby, what did you expect?! ((Edit to add: So on the monitor I now see DH rocking LO after feeding and changing him, holding LO close to his chest... awwww))

@kosbo6 - I have been looking for the Exclusive Pumper image all week! I found that someone had it on a non-TB site and then of course when I went back to find it couldn't. I think it's so clever and I always feel like one of those dairy cows being milked by a machine when pumping...

@hmvbaby14 - thanks. I did get her back to sleep , wrapped in the halo, and in her donut pillow. She slept like 4:30 - 7. She will not lay flat. I wonder if it is a reflux thing or what but she needs to be at a tilt. Hope this is safe enough. At least she is on her back and not me. Baby steps! I fed her and brought her downstairs. Put her in the napper of the pnp and she went back to sleep. Left daddy on duty and went back to sleep myself.
@rojovol34 - Thanks- not afraid of it anymore. The halo sleeper is now my friend. I get why it is tight now. Makes her comfy and puts her to sleep!
