Long days...long story

So after our flight home from vacation which LO slept through, he woke up choking and vomiting up bile right when we got home at midnight. After we got inside he vomited more and choked so bad we almost called 911. He then looked at us and smiled after DH had him belly down on his arm patting his back to help him. Kids... i immediately called the dr and he told us to take him to the ER.
After 4 hours in the ER and zofran and pedialyte being kept down. The drs sent us home saying it was a virus.
We finally got home at 5 am after traveling all day, slept for 4 hours and brought LO in that afternoon for a follow up with his pediatrician. She said its either motion sickness or a virus that's apparently been going around. He seems to be doing better now, keeping fluids in and having regular bowel movements so I think we're out of the woods but super scary.
DH also left right after the dr to go away for his fantasy baseball weekend with the guys for 3 days since LO was feeling better.
So here I sit tired and cuddling my little guy. No relief till Sunday and totally empathizing with you moms whose SO is away. Luckily LO slept 8 hours last night so I don't feel like a total zombie but our suitcases are strewn everywhere and I have no desire to pick them up. Instead I've been reading the new Nicholas sparks and eating chocolate and may continue on that path the remainder of the weekend.
