Holy Temper Tantrum

I think I've lost my hearing.

Tonight was DS1's school carnival fundraiser. I admit that we were out a bit long due to the chaos and fun. But, DS2 lost his shit when it was time to leave without face painting. I am mortified. Of course it was packed, so we were struggling to get out and he was screaming his head off.

My face was beet red as we left. Luckily the boys are in bed now. I have a glass of wine and plan to attempt getting my hearing back.

    Tantrums suck. DS1 wore himself out on the playground since it was our first nice day in a while. He threw a fit on the walk home because I dropped his snowball on the ground and he wanted to keep it "forever". He screamed for several blocks in front of several neighbors. He was also covered in mud from the melting snow, so we looked like a lovely family all around.

    100% this. My 8 months pregnant ass carried my 3 year old out of a children's museum once as he thrashed and screamed. As all the other moms looked on with that annoying "my child would NEVER" look on their face

    This happened one time when I nannied. I took them to the mall to ride the carousal. The little girl starts freaking out and wouldn't calm down. So I pick her up, while strolling her brother out to the car. It took everything not to yell "not my kid" but then I was worried that would set someone off that I was stealing them.

    What was it that set her off? Santa was there and I asked if she would want to wave at him
