Am I a bad fur-mom because all my fur-baby pics have a tiny person in them? My son is just constantly playing with our dogs. He loves them! The feeling is not always mutual, but we're working on it.

I couldn't wait for this post! I really wanted to share this photo from earlier this week. I swear - this is Romeo's porno pose. LOL!

And then last night, my husband takes my laptop out of my backpack to work on our taxes and Romeo crawls right in it. He literally stayed in there sleeping for like an hour an a half. He's so goofy!

This was from a few weeks ago, but I love it and I don't think I've shared it here yet... This is my DH with Mocha and Kingsley (and a hanger-on), walking on Lake Ontario at one of the beach dog parks we have here. It was so cold, but the dogs had so much fun. With the lake frozen solid between the beach and the island (obviously, the other direction from this shot) the dog park grew exponentially.

And, because I don't like to neglect him... Pekoe has been EXTRA snuggly with me lately. I think he can sense a second heartbeat.

I got him when I was 17 and he was our first dog. It just seemed to fit well. He's my lover and we always had Italian-ish pet names.

Ours was because we got him from a farm and of all the kitties I was petting and checking out, he came right up to me, I picked him up and it was like he was almost smiling at me. He started licking me all over and then got all comfy on my chest, started purring and didn't move. I fell in love instantly with him and said, 'yep this one is the one' and he was such a lover that we decided on Romeo

Funny part about all of that - he was the only male kitten and the farmer was super disappointed that he was left with all female kittens that were going to get KU and have more kittens. LOL!

@Laurelyn2012 one of our puggles (the one on the right in my post) has bad allergies too. And we have to put goodies or t-shirts on him to keep him from scratching himself raw. I wish we had a doggie dermatologist where we are.

@otter1103 it is horrible to see them get to that point! Stella responds well to the steroids but we just don't want that to be a permanent solution since it would likely cause many more issues in the long run. Maybe check out https://www.vetallergy.com/pet-parent/ and see if any of the vets in your area offer allergy testing. We were going to go this route but couldn't do the testing until she was 2 and we didn't want to wait another year. I'm hoping the dermatologist will do the testing earlier for us.

This is what I woke up to this morning. Our Pharaoh Hound is definitely a morning dog. Up by 5am. Ready to start her day and she'll just stare at us while grunting till one of us gets up. The mini-schnauzer stays cuddled up with me for as long as I'm there and lately has become a big fan of my snoogle.

He had a heart attack about three weeks ago and his chest kept filling up with fluids my mom was taking the best care of him at home that she could from syringe feeding him to giving him IVs so his kidneys wouldn't fail but it just wasn't enough anymore
