On the west coast there isn't any blue bell...I was looking for it when we had moved to WA a few years back and couldn't find it. Then someone was like that's only made In TX. Booo. There are A LOT of TX things that they don't have anywhere else. (Kalochies, pickle pops, whataburger, taco cabana...any good bbq. Lol)

Kolaches are so not a TX thing! I'm from Nebraska and I live in a pretty Czech-heavy part of the state and they're ubiquitous. I've seen them advertised in IA, MO, and IL as well. And I buy them everywhere I see them! Mmmm
Really?? Well maybe it's just cali that Is weird. Ppl looked at me funny when I asked if they had Kalochies. They were like what are those...and some guy was like Ohhh you must be from TX. Lol. I want Kalochies now. I'll be back to TX for a while in a month or so. Woohoo
I had the mint ones and OMG to die for, I loved it. They are super new. I grocery shop weekly at the same place so I know. They stick "new" cookies in a certain place and these were the ones there yesterday. They must have come out in the last week or two. I want to try the Dluce De Letche and Root Beer ones next. I don't care for Mocha so I won't be trying that one ladies.
@Cambury108 I haven't opened this one yet, but I must (only a little shamefully) admit that I've had 2 other core flavors - karamel sutra & that's my jam. They're delicious!! I like having 2 flavors in one pint and the core stuff is so good! It's more like an ice cream sundae with the topping in the middle so it lasts all the way to the bottom.

Oh man, do I miss taco cabana!
Also missing outside of TX: breakfast tacos and queso.
Too tired to make dinner so we got pizza, which means no dessert for me. I am also protesting MIL's attempts to seduce my sweet tooth. (Soooo difficult!!)
