Weekend plans?

I am very excited because after the winter that never ends, this weekend temps are supposed to be in the 50s! Spending some time with my favorite neices, brother, and favorite SIL tommorrow, and then having brunch in the city with some friends I haven't seen in awhile Sunday and eating cheesesteaks tonight. What is everyone else up to?

what are cheesesteaks? if it's what it sounds like I am salivating..

Cheesesteaks, are thin sliced sirloin, fried with cheese , on awesome rolls, I am from Philadelphia and we are pretty much known for them, no where out of this area can you get rolls like the ones we have and they are awesome:)

I am so excited that temperatures are up as well!! I am having my first baby shower tomorrow

so excited. My husbands family and my friends here will be there. I moved out of state before meeting my husband so my mom is having one for my family and friends up there in a couple weeks. That's why I say my first.

DH is picking up extra shifts to get comp time for when baby comes, so I'll be flying solo this weekend. Trader Joe's just opened last weekend in town and I think I may face the crowds tomorrow to get me some chocolate covered pretzels, cookie butter and anything else TJ's-related that I've been deprived of since moving out of California.

H is working. I am doing my weekend cleaning. Maybe go to the fair with a friend on Sunday but she wants to be there all day and idk if I'm up for that. Going to be twirling my thumbs waiting for a phone call for a second interview. That's it

My shower is tomorrow! I'm fighting a cold though so I probably won't do much of anything today except rest. DH picked up Catching Fire on bluray so we will probably watch that tonight. And thank The Lord I took Monday off to rest and unpack shower goods, too!

Have you tried power berries? They are one of my favorite TJ treats! Chocolate-covered fruity delicious drops of heaven.

I also have my big baby shower today! So excited bc we had nothing for baby and I know my parents got our PNP and in laws got our crib. I also got our car seat and stroller yesterday so now I feel like this baby thing is really happening!!

ashtog I can't believe you've never heard of a cheesesteak!! Maybe you know it as a steak & cheese sub? Regardless, they are delicious!! And the cheese isn't fried, it's melted, so maybe you can still have it?!

Had dinner and watched Catching Fire with friends last night. Today hubby is trying to fix the drain issue in our backyard and I am cleaning and doing laundry to prepare for our painting projects next week. Not sure what tomorrow will hold....probably more of the same.

Dh is into gaming and for big events his group of gaming buddies all get together for gaming weekends, called LAN weekends. Before our wedding he had his bachelor LAN weekend and for new babies they have diaper LAN weekends. Basically anyone who comes brings a pack of diapers. My husband turned 30 on the 5th so instead of "dirty thirty" he called "dirty diaper" LAN. I kinda hung out at home and ate their food lol. Yesterday I went to hang out with a friend because her husband was at my house gaming and I only made it 4 hours and was so tired I came home
