I've noticed a few greenish poops here and there since bf, however they have been consistently green for the last 24 hours. Before they were the normal yellow/seedy. The internet tells me this is either: a. Normal and/or b. due to lack of hind milk.... I let him nurse in each side until he stops and he nurses for about 10-20 minutes (usually). He's 3 weeks and seems to be going thru a growth spurt and nursing a lot. Thoughts?!
Re: Green poop
as PP said, what i have always heard was black, white, or bloody stools are the only colors that warrant immediate attention by a doctor.
i remember my DS having occasional green, mucusy stools in his first few months, and our pediatrician said it was nothing to worry about. mucusy stools can be caused by swallowing a lot of drool.
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.
