You are out in public, alone, with LO. You have pee like a racehorse. You don't have a carrier or a shopping cart. You are wearing jeans that are wayy too tight. You must have both hands to get your pants down/up. Do you:
A. Hold it. Forever.
B. Sit LO on the floor.
C. Attempt holding LO while you pee.
D. Give LO to a stranger to hold.

C. but I would never end up in this situation because I think through every outing 17 steps in advance. With 3 kids in tow the carrier and stroller are always with me!

This should have been a clicky but it kept messing up on me.

I'm really hoping I'm not in this situation soon. We are meeting FI and mil for dinner but I have 2 hours to kill beforehand.

E. put her on the baby changing station, unbutton/unzip pants, pick her back up, go into stall,pull pants down, go pee with her on your lap, pull pants up, put her back on changing table, zip/button pants again! changing table can be substituted for countertop if you sit her on it and stand directly in front of her.

C for sure. I would NEVER EVER set LO on the floor. I would either hold it or hold them..I have had to pee with LO in the ergo before...take some maneuvering but it is do able

C. I see a lot of bathrooms now with little chair things to put the baby in while you're peeing. It's in the stall!

Love this advice. Hell, if you carry LO correctly you could even discreetly unzip at a restaurant table or anywhere else where it would be safe to put LO down for a minute.

C. It' is possible to use two hands to do up your pants and hold the baby at the same time. The things we learn to do while holding a baby!

I am really questioning this question in general. Is this hypothetical or did this happen to you? I would never place my child on a dirty restroom floor. It just seems like a no brainer to me. I hope you were not faced with this decision.
