ameda purely yours? anyone?

I'm in the market for a new pump. My insurance will cover it, but I have to buy it from a medical supply store. The stores in my area only carry the ameda purely yours. I'm currently using an old style Medela PIS. can anyone compare the two or does anyone have the Ameda? Is it worth getting or am I spoiled by my Medela? tia

I haven't posted here in years, but I saw your post since I am new to BF'ing after 3.5 years. I have an Ameda Purely Yours and I can't recommend it highly enough. I have never used anything else, but can't imagine why I would need to. My hospital uses Ameda's, so that's the one I bought. I hadn't even heard of the Medela when I bought the Ameda. It's lightweight, easy to carry around, works perfectly, quiet! I would say the only downside would be that BRU doesn't carry replacement parts, I have to go back to the hospital or buy online. But it's really a great pump.
