So I just have a quick question.
I'm a high risk pregnancy with a gastroschisis baby. They are monitoring me weekly with ultrasounds and NSTs. Last week, when they checked my cervix I was 3 cm long, normal length they told me. Today, a week later, they said it went down to a 2 cm thinned, and if it goes below a 2 then they will start me on shots.
I am 30 weeks and 3 days pregnant now and a lot gastroschisis pregnancies do not go past 35 weeks (what I've heard) and they have me scheduled for an induction date when I turn 37 weeks. Is it normal for a 2cm thinned cervix at 30 weeks? Just looking for a few others with this
Tia!
Ps I did put this on the high risk board but only received 1 post and was going to see if anyone here had anything similar

Re: Thinned cervix
Honestly I'm not for sure yet about the shots. The ultrasound guys told me about the shots, but they just said shots, didn't name a specific one.

6th pregnancy It's a BOY
They will be checking me internally once a week until I deliver. Baby's head is so far down that it's been hard to get an acurate reading from the outside.
