1) Everyone says me, but I see both of us in her. Her hair is darker than mine was at her age and we have different eye colors, but the shape of her face and actual features favor me I guess.
2) I pictured her to look more like my H (dark kair/ dark eyes/ olive-y complexion)-- since everyone is always saying how girls tend to favor their fathers (lookswise). She's pretty fair though (like me) and has sandy blonde hair and maybe hazel-ish eyes?

I know this is the loving parent talking, but DD SERIOUSLY got the best of DH and I. She has my eyes, his crinkly eyed smile, my nose, his mouth, my chin, his overall face and head shape. She has his hair.
50% of people say she is a mini me and the other 50% see DH in her. I see both of us at different times.
I was really worried that she was going to get his giant head and my super small and angular features or my super small head and his giant man features, but it all worked out okay
She looks almost exactly like what I pictured, except I pictured a super dark haired baby and she has more dark blonde/medium brown hair (I call DH's "dust" colored LOL, and hers is similar with a few more brighter highlights).
- Most of our family says he looks like H but my co-workers say he looks like me. I'd say he looks like H a lot.
- DS has light brown hair w/ blue eyes and neither H nor I have those features so needless to say that's not how I pictured he'd look like. I expected him to have dark hair w/ brown eyes.
1) Who does your LO most closely resemble? H. They're baby pictures are very similar. He has some of me, but mostly H
2) Does your LO look like you expected him/her to? I don't think I really knew what to expect. I think I'd make an ugly dude, so I probably was hoping for DS to look more like H.
When he was born DH hands down. They were Twinkies. I actually remember feeling upset b/c he didn't look like me at all. Now he has some of my qualities but mostly still looks like DH.
1) Who does your LO most closely resemble? He looks like my H. Spittin' image, right down to the thin hair (lol) and dimples. Makes me sad sometimes.
2) Does your LO look like you expected him/her to? I don't know why, but I pictured him with a full head of dark hair when I was pregnant. Maybe because that's what I had as a baby (until it all fell out). He had barely any hair for the longest time and now it's just thin and wispy and a darker blonde colour.
When he was a baby, he looked exactly like dh as a baby. As he's gotten older, it's clear he has my eyes. But really, people who know me say he looks like me and people who know dh say he looks like dh. So I guess he's the perfect mix.
Ds has blond hair right now. It will probably grow in dark within a year or so just like dh's hair when he was little and his father before that. But I had no idea about the blond precedent, I always thought he'd have dark hair! Now I kind of want it to stay light, lol.
Me. It's like holding up a mirror. He and I at his current age are nearly indistinguishable in photos, too. Every person we know (and even strangers comment) agrees with this wholeheartedly except for my husband's immediate family who somehow see him looking like my husband. Even my husband thinks they're nuts.
DD got my hair color and eyes, but everything else is my ex-H (or someone on his side of the family).
She looks just like I expected, except the hair color. I'm a natural redhead, but her dad is half Italian and I figured she'd get his dark hair. She didn't. She got red. Lucky girl
It's weird. We know several families whose kids are LO's age and in each case their toddler looks like an exact blend of the two parents. But we don't really see that at all in him. When he was a baby we agreed he basically was DH from the nose up and me from the nose down (DH and I have the same nose) but now... he's just him.
I do think he's significantly cuter than any kid I expected to produce. But I also know that's a bias because strangers never fuss over him, etc.
He has DH's hazel/amber eyes and that's still odd to me because every kid in my family had blue eyes so I just expect to see them on him. And DH and I were both towheads yet DS is already just a dishwater blond.
1. He looks A LOT like my brother at 2. But he's also a good blend of DH and I- DH's nose, but my eyes and smile.
2. I didn't have a picture of what I thought he would look like other than I thought he'd have lots of dark hair when he was born. Instead he had only a little and he was blonde.
1. Definitely me. She was more of a blend when younger, but now she definitely looks like me. Someone posted a preschool photo of my class on Facebook and people could tell which one was me base on it looking exactly like DD. She is a bit more olivey-complected like DH, and has his personality for sure.
2. I'm not sure, it was really hard for me to envision. I envisioned her being a chubbier baby, but I think overall nothing is a complete surprise about her looks.

1. She looks exactly like DH's older sister who died as an infant. DD could have been her twin. She has my personality so it's a win-win for both of us.
2. We thought that she would look more like me so we were all surprised when she came out looking like DH. At least there was no way for his crazy family to say that she wasn't his so it was a pleasant surprise.
She looked like DH when she was first born... now she's becoming a mixture of the both of us. I didnt really imagine what she would look like, so I guess she looks like I expected?
1) When DD was first born, she looked totally Asian like me, but within a few weeks, we saw that her ears and her mouth were all DH - he was so proud of her ears, haha. Now, she basically looks like a blend of us - my eyes/forehead, his smile.
2) I was expecting a full head of hair because that was how I was born. Nope, completely bald. I did expect her hair color to be as light as it is now only because DH was born blond, and is a bit lighter. I expected her to look exactly like me, but am so pleasantly surprised that she's half/half. I absolutely love that she has his smile!
Up until about 8 or 9 months old she looked EXACTLY like my husband's baby pictures, it was freaky, and I was sad- because I was an adorable kid(yeah, IDK what happened either) :P
Now, she doesn't look anything like my husband's baby pics and definitely looks like me when I was a toddler, except her face is thinner. I thought she was kinda funny looking until recently(confession?). She is now definitely cuter than I expected. As long as she doesn't get my stupid crooked nose, she'll be OK-- no sign of it so far
ETA: She looks like my baby pics but everyone says she resembles my husband now..I wonder what that is supposed to mean...
DS looks enough like DH that when you compare pictures of them at each age, the likeness is freaky! When you look closer, though, you see that he has my eyes and my father's forehead.
I had to have weekly ultrasounds in the final month of pregnancy and we got a 3d image of his face a week before he was born. He came out looking exactly like that. I never had any expectations of what he would look like as a toddler or little boy, though.

Mini-version of my hubs. Ocassionally when I look at him sideways I can see my baby self. Body wise, long and lean like me. 90% for height and 60% for weight.
I expected that he would have darker eyes (DH are brown, mine are blue) but he has my bright blue eyes. MIL commented about them relentlessly, especially early on, commenting that maybe they would still turn brown. UGH!
