1- how are you doing physically/emotionally? Physically I've been back to 100% for a while. Emotionally, I went back to work this week and it was hard but it's also good. I'm not meant to be a SAHM. Having 8-10 hours per day with other adults using my education makes me a better mom when I get home, I can't wait to snuggle David and dote on him.
2- how is LO doing? He's doing great! I think we're finally getting his reflux under control!
3- what is your biggest frustration? Nothing huge because DH is awesome in so many ways but he takes Los 2-3am feeding and it's a struggle to get him up and out of bed and I'm awake listening to LO cry that whole time. He's amazing at almost everything else so I feel like a bitch complaining about that.
4- what is good this week? Being back at work and starting to get a feel for our long-term routine. LO is also regularly giving us a 5-7 hour stretch at night now starting at 8-9:30.
5- has anything significant changed? (STTN, milestones, etc.) He started smiling! It's not consistent but sometimes we can get him to do it!
6- anything to add or PIPs! Pip! Have a good weekend everyone!
1. I'm great physically, mentally I've been having a hard time this week. H has been sleeping a lot so I'm alone all night and alone all day. It sucks. Hopefully he's over his sickness soon.
2. He's doing ok. 6 week growth spurt can kiss my ass, my normally happy baby has been fussing and going nuts this week! He also has a cold so that is not helping.
3. 6 week growth spurt- eating all the time and not sleeping!
4. Not much. It's supposed to be in the 40's this weekend so that's pretty awesome.
5. No real milestones. He's been smiling a while. He's getting really good at holding his head up.
1- how are you doing physically/emotionally? Emotionally, much better the last couple of days, feeling more in control of my emotions. Physically, ok, although stitches still hurt bad by the end of the day.
2- how is LO doing? She is perfect i still cant stop holding her and staring at her.
3- what is your biggest frustration? No sleep of course. Also, I get irrationally frustrated that DH doesnt feel the need to constantly hold her like I do, he feeds her and then puts her in the rock n play. Stupid to be frustrated about this i know.
4- what is good this week? We had her newborn photos done and they are too cute! Also she has allowed me to shower when husband is gone a couple times, which makes me feel human.
5- has anything significant changed? (STTN, milestones, etc.) Her cord stump fell off today and I can see her cute little belly button
Physically, I'm fine. I just had my 6 week pp appointment and was cleared for everything. Emotionally, I'm okay. Last week I had a lot of random anxiety but I'm feeling better this week. I think it's related to how much sleep I get.
2- how is LO doing?
He's good.
3- what is your biggest frustration?
My house is constantly a mess and it really stresses me out.
4- what is good this week?
LO had to have a hip ultrasound on Monday to see if he had hip dysplasia. Fortunately, his hips are normal.
5- has anything significant changed? (STTN, milestones, etc.)
He's pretty good at holding his head up. Still waiting on a smile...
3- what is your biggest frustration?
No sleep of course. Also, I get irrationally frustrated that DH doesnt feel the need to constantly hold her like I do, he feeds her and then puts her in the rock n play. Stupid to be frustrated about this i know.
Thats good to know, it just makes me feel like he doesnt care about her the way he should, even though I know he does, and I know men dont interact the same way we do with our babies.
Physically, I'm feeling awesome with the exception for my let-down which is actually kinda painful (I'm not sure if this is normal or not...) Mentally, I'm not sure. The past few days have had a lot of ups and downs and I'm just trying to take it day by day/moment by moment.
2- how is LO doing?
He's fantastical. He is growing well and is awake more (except today, he's wicked sleepy ) But overall he is doing well.
3- what is your biggest frustration?
There's a couple. Right now it's finding a balance and being on the same page with DH about things. Also, it's remembering to "talk" to LO all the time and narrate my day to him. Usually at home I am a quiet person, and don't talk much unless there is a reason to, obvs I have a big reason to talk, just not much to say...
4- what is good this week?
I have a healthy, beautiful son. Also, DH announced he was giving me his upgrade and wants me to go get a new phone on Sunday.
5- has anything significant changed? (STTN, milestones, etc.)
Last night K went to bed at 11:45 and slept until 4. He got up ate and went back to bed around 4:45 and then got up this morning at 7. It was pretty awesome. Also, he's doing really awesome with neck movements, and tracking me with his eyes!
6- anything to add or PIPs!
“Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.” — The Doctor, Season 3, Episode 6
VeronicaAnn143 - Awesome! I'm not going back until April 1st, and I'm half dreading it, half thinking that I need to go back to work (this baby time all the time thing is lovely but hard, yo!)
bribbon - Man, I'm sorry you still can't eat all the things. FWIW, after 9 months of pregnancy and no coffee, I am officially a tea drinker. Coffee of any kind - even decaf, gets me nutty like now
BioGirl21 - But I thought growth spurts were supposed to make them sleepy?!
adinashoshana Seriously adorable photos! She looks like she is Marching!
JoyBaby5That's scary! I'm glad things look okay and he doesn't seem to have caught it!
mo1484 - I get annoyed about that too. I try not to get angered at H when it seems like I spend more time with/attention to LO than he does. I feel partially like I am justified in this thought, and partially like I am an asshat for thinking this.
BlueDot818 - I'm glad to hear the Dr helped! Also, the NB pics are supercute!
golfergirl08 - K's been doing the same fussy tired thing too Also, I love the google auto-awesome!

1- how are you doing physically/emotionally? Finally starting to feel normal physically (minus annoying temperature fluctuations from hormones). Emotionally, I'm getting there. Stressed about my work return in 2.5 weeks.
2- how is LO doing? She's doing great. Sleeps and eats well! Loves her activity mat, snuggling, and staring at her kitties
3- what is your biggest frustration? Her daddy not being as involved with her care as I hoped. He gets home from work and passes out. He's been asleep now since 9pm. Seriously?!
4- what is good this week? We made an adventure to Starbucks and the man in line behind me paid for my drink. So nice!
5- has anything significant changed? (STTN, milestones, etc.) I've put her in her rock n play in our room every night for the past week or so. She's doing better at sleeping longer stretches in there! I think we got up to 3 hours earlier.
6- anything to add or PIPs! Pic from her newborn session finally!
