  yes, they can regenerate, even now.  you're due in 6 weeks.  it kind of means nothing.  think of it like having BH or being 1 cm dilated.  i think @thomas930 summed it up pretty well in her post above.

  It doesn't mean anything if you don't. I never lost mine until some point during labor I would assume...I don't really know because I never saw it.

  Yep, mine didn't break until right at 9cm.

  This was me!! Except I was at home, there was no fancy gown (just yoga pants and a t-shirt), it was 1am, and I was preparing to wash a pan to make a quesadilla.
  
  Still, pretty dramatic.

  LOL @Nijay714 no ma'am... It literally burst the second I picked up the pan to carry it to the sink, so I just turned, placed the pan back on the counter, and waddled to the window to tell DH (who was out with the dogs) that it was time. Heh
  
  To be fair, we did stop for gas, and try to get through a McDs drive thru (which turned out to be closed) on the way to the hospital, cause we were both hungry and knew they wouldn't let me eat while in labor at the hospital.

  I lost mine 2 weeks ago and for some reason things have been downhill since. I blame the plug! But doc says I'm already 1cm dilated...although that means nothing...
