My oldest twin didn't get his first tooth until 13m adjusted. He still only has 12 teeth while his younger brother has all 20. Kids get teeth at different ages. My pedi said she wouldn't get suspicious about anything unless he had no teeth at his 18m actual appointment.

I wouldn't worry either. My pediatrician said that her son got his 1st tooth around his first birthday. She said that my DD will probably get a lot at once. Actually the longer they stay inside the gums the better for the health of the tooth.
My boss keeps telling me about her preemie niece that has partial dentures cause she didn't have tooth buds develop. I think that's why I'm worried. You know people and trying to relate to uou
** continued from above** Relate to your situation and tell horror stories? I get that from people all the time. I dunno if their trying to make me feel better or what?

I have no idea how common that is, but my pedi said that she has never seen a child not get their teeth. She's been a pedi for many years FWIW.
