I've been inspired by my own creepy gif on the lurking thread. And obviously I have too much time on my hands. Join me in wasting some time.

Post gifs (static or animated) of the movie that you think is the scariest.

Mine is The Ring. US version is WAY scarier than the Japanese original.

    I had nightmares from the paranormal activity movies... Yet continue to watch them. Still with my eyes shut for the most part...

    This is the worst part of Exorcist for me.  I jumped out of my seat when it happened.

    I can't handle anything exorcism related... The Exorcism of Emily Rose scarred me for life!

    ETA: OP I literally shook during that movie The Ring....we saw it in theaters and OH josh. I am a big scardy cat and I still don't know how I got thru it.

    Oh I forgot! This is the first movie that really REALLY scared me, I think I saw it when I was a teenager. Something about old-timey wheelchairs . . *shudders*

    It's still scary - grab it on itunes if they have it and watch it. You just have to get past the late 70s/early 80s clothes and 'dos.

    Ah! I watched Candyman at a girlfriend's house in middle school. Scarred for life!

    In a moment of epic parenting failure, my siblings and I saw Stephen King's "It" at a family party and I was forever traumatized.

    ETA: We were kids when we saw it, if that wasn't clear from my OP.

    My younger cousin's room had been decorated in clowns at the time (which is creepy anyway, if you ask me). My Aunt and Uncle had to completely redecorate his room as a result of him watching this movie.

    Ok because of the title I have to tell y'all my aunt is having a Halloween themed wedding in March. Yea.....it's going to be interesting. I am going just to see how wonderful this turns out. Sorry to get off track but come on who does that?!

    Totally forgot about this one! Me and my cousins would watch it and run upstairs screaming every time there was a scary part lol.

    Lol. This reminded me of, one night shortly after DS was born, DH was giving me a night off. He totally did this at the side of our bed. It was only for a few minutes. But it scared the crap out of me initially then cracked me up. We were both so tired.

    @Loolaide I forgot about Ju'on! Definitely the Japanese version is better, generally is the case.

    @Cashingn2 Possibly, but I like it anyway. I saw that and though "If I had tits like that, I wouldn't have this stupid job."

    sammichcat 13 Ghosts was REALLY hard for me. My husband owned the movie and watched it so many times I eventually became like numb to it but the first time for sure was frighting!!!

    Has anyone ever seen the movie People Under The Stairs? I remember watching that as a younger kid and for whatever reason it traumatized me.
