Parenting after a Loss

It's been awhile (cdnfarmgirl)

I've been MIA for a bit. I've hit a rough patch at work and am getting totally overwhelmed with teaching, looking after a toddler who seems to have hit the terrible 2's about 7 months early and just general stress in life. I love seeing all the new faces (names)  but now I feel so out of the loop. I want to stay and chat more around here, but I feel like i just can't get my game together lately. DS has hit the worst sleep patch he's ever been in (he's never been a good sleeper) and I feel like just to function I need to go bed at 8 when he does. It's awful.

Just wanted to say "hi", and welcome to anyone new around here! I have a snow day today (yay!) so I figured I'd pop over here and say a quick hi. Have a great day!

  • Hey there! From what I've heard the terrible 2s start at 18 months and go to 3. Hang in there...it gets better (or more tolerable).

  • We've missed you!  Sorry you're having a rough time.  I hope things straighten out soon.  And if you need to go to bed at 8 to feel rested, by all means go for it.  I'll do that maybe once a week just for my own sanity.
