Dried milk on nipples

Any suggestions for getting rid of the dried milk that cakes up on nipples? I EP and continuously have to try to get it off, even though I never fully do. I try scrubbing with a wash cloth and pick it off. To make matters worse I have an extreme nipple phobia and really can't stand messing with them.

I was browsing other forums and saw a suggestion to use a business card to scrape it out. That sounded like the worse idea ever!

    I'm guessing it's dried milk. It's like yellowish pieces that are clumped and stuck in them. I'm able to wipe or pick most of it away..

    I don't think that's milk. I never dry or clean mine after nursing or pumping and have never seen anything on them.
