Illness stuff

I made an appt for Milla because she has stinky urine, again, and threw up Tuesday, is sleeping a bunch, is not eating much, and is pretty crabby. It's in a couple if hours.
Well this morning I notice she has a crusty, gooey, red, watery eye and keeps rubbing the ear on that side. This poor child, will she catch a break? Seriously she's only ever not ill for a 2-3 weeks at a time. I know it's common and she's building her immunities, but sheesh.
Also I brought her to church Sunday, me and her usually stay home because it's nap time, but I figured a missed nap once and a while was fine. Every time she goes she has SOOO much fun. She practically throws herself from my arms to go and play, but she always catches something. :/
stupid winter germs.

That's all.

  • This winter can stuff it. I feel your pain - we've been sick more than we've been healthy. I'm starting to fear leaving the house...

I know! I'm constantly sanitizing hands when we go out because she sticks them in her mouth all the dang time. Then I see people at Meijer wiping snot in their hands and touching crap. It makes me grrr.

  • Poor Milla. As a family we have overall been sick more than we have been well. I have had pink eye and strep throat, things that I haven't had since I was a child. The crazy thing is that I got pink eye from daycare and DD didn't. I'm glad she didn't, but I'm still curious how the heck I ended up with it.

Are they any closer to figuring out the urinary infection issue?

  • The only thing worse than Sonja constantly getting colds is that me and DH then catch the day care super bugs, too.  She currently has a running/stuffy nose and a cold in her one eye.  Guess what I woke up with yesterday!  I feel badly for poor lil' Milla.  Hope she's on the mend soon.

  • She has a cold, a minor ear infection, a cold in her eye, and her urine was clean. I don't know why her pee stinks so bad!

I'd blame an infected parent using the sign in/out pen.

  • Poor kiddo! I hope she feels better soon. Gosh, I hope all the Dec LO's stay healthy for awhile.

DD2 had a fever all yesterday and into last night. DH says she is doing okay today, just acting tired. I don't get it. She has no other symptoms.

  • @JandACoffee not really any different foods, she must just be a smelly pee-er. DH has smelly pee. Maybe it's some inherited thing.

    Here's to healthy babies!
