The girls have their big, epic 15M (ish) follow-up with their neonatologist and team tomorrow -- full hearing and developmental screen. We did this 6M ago, and it takes like 3+ hours. I'm more exhausted than the girls are when all is said and done (can you tell I'm excited?). I especially dislike this appointment because they have to dimensionalize how far behind DD1 is in terms of her gross motor skills. I mean, duh, I get she's behind. That's why she's in EI. I don't need the slap-in-the-face, comes-with-a-number confirmation of that fact.
That said - is this likely to be it? Assuming the only lingering issues we have are low muscle tone for DD1 -- should I expect we'll be going back again? I'd love to be done...

Re: When did you stop seeing the neos?
We had a NICU follow-up clinic that we went to every 4-6 months. She just had her last appointment at 2.5 years. It was nothing like what you are describing at 3 hours, though. The appointments usually take 30-40 minutes.
