Nooooooo! (Stupid cat)

My fat-ass cat just jumped up on the counter and knocked off a brand-new can of Alimentum that I was about to pour into the bottle maker. Gaahhh that stuff is expensive. He ran off and then promptly stared me down from atop the couch. Anyone want a giant cat?!

  • Oh hell no!! That was the only formula that my son would tolerate and you are not kidding about the price. The cat must die. J/K

Ohhhh no no no. I'm sorry. Cat owes you like $40.

I told him he'd better get a job stat.

I was shocked by the price but it has made a huge difference. It seems to never go on sale and it's sometimes hard to find. Boo!

  • TXmamatobe contact them and tell them you exclusively use their products and also sign up for the Similac mom club because then every month you get I believe 5-10$ worth of "coupons" in the mail and you can use those towards a can. Just a thought for ya. I did when mine were on it. Its like 30$ a can where I live. When DD#1 was little they only had the ready to feed option. It was right under 9$ a can. Once she was bigger and drinking like 2-3 of those a day I wanted to cry!!!

I signed up for the coupons right away! Now if they would only come in the mail...

  • O/T - when we found out we needed to wean, I remembered the bottle maker someone posted and ran out to buy it. Lol. Still haven't used it but excited to. You think it was worth the dough @txmamatobe ? I'm waiting to open it to see if she insists on taking warm bottles. My oldest liked cool bottles but this one is a bit more of a drama queen so I'm expecting her to be more fussy about the right temp.

I absolutely love it! I wasn't sure when we bought it but I'm so glad we did. Just remember that it doesn't mix 100% - I still have to give the bottle a few swirls to mix completely but maybe that's because we are using Alimentum which is harder to mix. I don't miss getting powder everywhere and waiting for the bottle to heat.
