Where are our ninjas?

Sleeping soundly? Hmmm. Here's hoping.

Two strikes so far on the return to crib. Waiting to find out if the third time is the charm or the strikeout.

I know there are others up too. I can't be the only one. But really, babies, it's okay if I am.

    Hellooooo! Up for number two. This time DS was upset because his blanket was all crazy and he couldn't fix it.

    Up for 2 at 2:40. He woke up at 11 crying. Didn't need a diaper, didn't want a bottle or to be rocked or held or left alone. Just cried and I couldn't figure out why. I held him until he fell asleep anyway.

    This time is just a quick bottle and he's asleep again--with a big grin on his face. Not sure what's going on with him.

    Up for the second time tonight. Enjoying the snuggles, but I would take sleep, too.

    I've lost count. I don't think I've slept for more than 20 min at a time. He's finally sleeping and I'm setting the alarm to get back up at 3 to switch back to TPN.

    Fuck you, fungus. Go play somewhere else.

    This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! 
    DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome.
    131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
    We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.

    Up here too. I think Hunter is having bladder spasms. :( He woke up crying a few times last night. I just gave him a medication to stop them, so we'll see if that helps.

    Silly babies. You need to stay asleep. We are up again also. Took a while for my eyes to focus enough see to read and to type. :(

    I think I've set my alarm once in 7 months, haven't needed to. Didn't need to then.

    My neck hurts from sitting at an incline all night with a stuffy baby that doesn't ever sleep, never really has slept and probably never will sleep.

    @asbromle With you on the stiff neck and stuffy baby. And sleep? What is this phenomenon you describe? I was only up 5 times last night, but that's because there weren't very many opportunities to rest inbetween wakings. It's more like, we are up all night with sporadic periods of rest.

    Oh man. The past four months have been BRUTAL. last night she was up 5 times from 7:30-9 and then every two hours after that.
    I'll take some of that coffee. Lots of it!

    I an with ya @hindihl now that feedings take less time, using my phone only makes the wakeup last longer. Here's hoping these ninjas sleep sometime soon!!
