We have one. I almost debated not getting one when DS was ready to come and we did cause we got it on sale at BRU. I think it is great! Definately traps the smell in there. We empty ours once a week before our weekly trash pick-up. I never have any issues with the smell when it's full. I am glad that we got one and will plan to use it for baby number two later down the line again.
Now that DS is older I also like it because he doesn't understand how it works and even if he knocks it over (which he has done once) it stays shut really well and doesn't have a bunch of stinky diapers all over his room.
We have one also. I really do like it. It keeps all the diapers contained, DD hasn't figured out how to open it, and it's pretty good at keeping the smells at bay.
We have the Diaper Genie Essentials. When I was doing research, this was supposed to give out the least smell. After 13 months, it is still working like a charm. Her room never smells of poop. We love it!
No, I hated ours, course it broke at about month five, and now I just put his diapers in plastic Wal-Mart/grocery bags and take them out to the garage every night. We have a Scentsy stuffed monkey toy thing that has a scent packet in it so his room stays pretty fresh...unless there is a "good" diaper in there...I take those out immediately! It worked great during the winter because they would just all freeze and there was no smell. We are starting to warm up now. I'm dreading summer. Yuck.

I have two. I use one upstairs and one downstairs and we actually put our cloth diapers in them. They keep the smell in great. I only wish I could use a reusable bag instead of having to buy the bag cartridges.

We have 2 and really like them. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. They mask the smell and have been pretty durable. One of them we can step on to open it and it's very convenient. The refills are expensive though.
We have one of the Ubbi diaper pails, and have loved it, but the inside is starting to smell kind of gross from 14 months of dirty diapers. We empty it almost every day, and have tried Lysol etc but no luck. Anyone else?
we had the Munchkin one too, and the lock broke around month five or so. I used it for a while, but it started to smell both inside and out. I finally just trashed it and have been putting the diapers in the regular trash and just taking it out when full/starting to smell. I may buy a diaper genie for the next kid, but not sure.
I have used the same diaper champ since DS was a baby, love it. You can use your own plastic bags with this one. I wash it every once in a while but it does a great job hiding the smell
