Done with Synagis!

Whoo hoo! Anna had her last Synagis shot today. I am so excited to be done and to drop regulars with pulmonology! We also had checkups with neurosurgery and neurology and unfortunately we don't get to drop them yet, but one is better than none!


  Our Angel Patricia born sleeping 3/30/12 at 31 weeks
Our Fighter Anna born early 1/8/13 at 26 weeks
Hoping to bring home #3 due 9/9/15

    Might be a dumb question but what makes you "done" with synagis? We will be getting our second round of the shots on Thursday.

    IUI #2: 1/21/13-100mg Clomid(CD3-7)(8M post wash) + progesterone= BFP!! EDD 10/13/13
    Beta #1=81.1 Beta #2=134.5 Beta #3=58.1 #4=2369 WTH?!-Not sure if its viable
    2/21/13 - Went to RE expecting the worse and saw the flutter of the heart.To God be the Glory!!
          5/29 - It's a Girl!!
    8/21/13 - Naomi born at 32w3d by csection due to Pre-E

    Yay!! One less trip to the doctor's office!! ETA: @nblondheim RSV season is November-April where I live, so DD will get her last shot this month, but depending on GA & other factors, babies qualify for one or two years. Is that right, OP?

    Yes, like @KTZ17 said, our season runs Nov to April so she got five shots to cover her. I think usually babies only qualify for one season unless they were discharged right at the end or have another diagnosis such as CF. But it's been a while since I looked at the requirements.

    Woo hoo!!!! And, this selfishly makes me excited since it can only mean that RSV season is nearly O.V.E.R!!! Ready to get these girls out and about. They've seen nothing but the inside of our house and Dr Offices since they've been born (with very few exceptions). Time to change that!
    TTC Since 11/10 due to Unexplained IF 
    4 Rounds of Clomid, 2 Rounds of Femara + IUI, 2 rounds of IUI+ Injectables (Bravelle + Menopur) = First BFP! TWIN GIRLS!

    November 2, 2012 - Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d

    Indeed! Our pulmo said we can lift restrictions after Easter. Last year Easter was a bit early but this year it's right on target. Anna came home the day after Easter so we are looking forward to having her home this year!

    Exactly! I've also (somewhat arbitrarily) decided Easter is the get-out-of-jail date. Home stretch!!

    I'm also excited we don't have to have her under strict quarantine anymore...she can start to get out in the world a little more.

    Yay!! We had our last one at the end of Feb.

    We had home health come and give them to her and our nurse was kind of a bitch so I'm also glad they're done so we don't have to see her anymore ;)
