Goodbye CPAP!

Both boys have been moved to a nasal cannula! They were soooo done with their cpap, it was making them anxious and mad! Our nurse practitioner wanted to wait until after their first eye exams (which came back with no trace of eye disease yay). First thing this morning she had them switched out and everyone was so excited to get to see their faces!! So today is a good day.. And Mr. Steele is now 4 lbs!! He's a monster, I swear he just hit 3 yesterday!!

    Married 8/2008. IVF with PGD March 2013.
    3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
    3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
    4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
    PPROM at 31w, delivery at 32 weeks of two beautiful girls

    Wellll that was short lived! ) hours later they are back on it! They had to turn their O2 up over 30 so they would rather be at 21 on cpap.. So a few more days! They have had a taste of freedom though so maybe that will motivate them! We will look at this as a trial run!! Oh the preemie roller coaster!

    Instead today we celebrate the 4 lb club for Steele and low rididuals for Knox.. And just getting to see these eyes!!
