  I am a youngest, but there's enough of an age gap between me and my sisters that I am sometimes more like an oldest or an only.

  I was the baby for 10 years!!! Then my mom got divorced and remarried and had another child, who stole my spot! :-P

  Middle child of two sisters and yes, I grew up with some serious middle child syndrome.  I'm perfect now though.

  

   

  

  BFP#1 - 11/27/09 EDD 8/5/10, DS1 arrived 7/24/10 via emergency c-section.

  BFP#2 - 6/18/12 EDD 2/23/13, sweet baby girl born sleeping on 10/4/12 at 19 weeks, 3 days.

  I'm the youngest, my sister who is the middle child and 2 years older is treated more as the baby, maybe because she was the first girl.

  SS- best description is probably only child. Yes I think I can be spoiled but I also think a lot of the oldest child stuff applies as well. 

  
  

  Now for the SS part, I am my mom's only child but my dad's 3rd. Both of my brothers lived with with their mother and are 18 years and 12 years older than me, so we don't really have a sibling relationship. We are not very close and only see each other every other year or so and only talk on the phone 7-10 times a year. Growing up I only saw them in the summer and at holidays. Once my dad passed away, it would be even longer in between visits. My mom remarried when I was 17 and my stepdad has one daughter she was 12 at the time. We lived together for a year and half before I left home. She and I have a more sibling like relationship than I do with my brothers and we very much fit into the oldest and baby dynamics in our relationship. 

  
  

  For example my room turned into a guest room months after I left home, sister's room still filled with her stuff to this day. Even though she is 28 and a pilot in the Airforce and hasn't come home for longer than 2 weeks since she left for the Academy 10 years ago.

  THis was a bit hard for me to vote for. I picked oldest child which is true but I was an only child til I was 17.  I have a 1/2 sister.  

  
  

  I was always doing things when I was young.  Cooking, cleaning, laundry, I would say before I was 10 since I lived with my dad.
