infant car seat and stroller recommendations?

Looking at all of the different car seats is a bit overwhelming! There are so many different ones. Any recommendations for infant car seat that is compatible with a stroller (preferably a jogging stroller but standard stroller is still an option for us at this point). Thanks for the recommendations!

  • I love my b-agile and I got it with the b-safe that I also loved (but DS is now too big for).

Just an FYI in case you aren't aware but you can't run with babies until they are older (like 6 months+)

I got the Orbit Baby System- It's expensive but it does have flame retardants and uses Organic materials. That was important to me :)
  • If you want a jogger, I'd pick the stroller first. I know that BOBs have a car seat adaptor that works with most brands (and you can get a b safe that matches if that a matters to you). After you pick your stroller you should probably go to babies r us to try the seats in your car to make sure they fit.

I do know that the snugride 22 by graco and the baby trend infant seats are not recommended because they do not fit newborns well (the lowest harness slot tends to be too high and above babies shoulders).

  • We got the britax b-safe car seat and a baby jogger city mini gt and love it. The carseat is light. the stroller opens and closes with one hand. You just have to buy the infant seat adapters for the stroller. With the adapters the car seat snaps in and you can use it for jogging
  • We have the britax b-safe and the Bob revolution with the adapter.  We love both :-)
