Red spotting 6 weeks pregnant

I just went to the bathroom and had red spotting not enough for a pad Has anyone else had this happen to them in early pregnancy?

Yes, I had red spotting on & off from 4 weeks till 14 weeks. Sometimes I'd go weeks without spotting and then have it again. As long as it's not a lot and you're not having cramping, then you should be ok. Don't hesitate to call your Dr even if just for peace of mind.

We had two gestational sacs at our first ultrasound one measuring Baby A measuring 5 weeks 3 days
Baby B measuring 5 weeks 1 day (my question was could the second baby who was two days behind at last weeks ultrasound be implanting late hence the red spotting? I had no cramps it was just on the toilet paper and red now it was just a pink dot.

Yes. It's probably an SCH. Mine hit with both pregnancies at around 6 weeks.

When is your next ultrasound? They can confirm an SCH. My RE asked me to take it easy, no lifting over 5 lbs., no cleaning or vacuuming and just all around be lazy. This prevents and SCH from getting bigger.

Did you call your RE? Normally they'll scan you to see if that's the problem.

Unless you have a US scheduled in the next day or 2, I'd call your dr in the morning. I'm sorry you're dealing with spotting, it's so scary when it happens.

I bled terribly for the first trimester. I was worried constantly! Call the doc and keep them posted.

My ultrasound is scheduled for Friday. I did put a call into the after hours line as well

So you had spotting early with your twins? at my 5 week ultrasound my baby b was measuring behind could this one time spotting possibly have been late implantation or that second baby growing?

I had multiple episodes of bleeding early in this pregnancy- one very heavy period like episode lasted overnight. Super scary but so far all is well, and hopefully will be for you too!

Yes. There was one day that I had a huge gush right through a pad and clothes. My spotting started right after the FET and never let up until around 12 weeks. I was changing pads about every 6 hours. It was truly a living nightmare! I was told one time it was a SCH, another time it was my cervix and another time it was the placental bed. I never got a good answer. Switching from crinone to PIO really helped. Sorry you are going through this! I know how horrible it is!

If you already saw your gestational sacs, it wouldn't be implantation bleeding. Also, 2 days behind isn't really anything to worry about - that's pretty normal and can change from week to week. Some weeks my baby was measuring a day or two behind, and others a day or two ahead. I had red bleeding at 5w1d and it was a SCH, but my red bleeding only lasted that day. I had brown spotting for 5-6 days after, but not enough to even fill a panty liner. It could be nothing, but I would call your RE right away if not just show up and have them give you an emergency u/s - I was on the table with my pants down within an hour of seeing that red blood. Red bleeding is nothing to mess with especially as early in pregnancy as you are. My *FX* for you that it's nothing to worry about!

It actually completely stopped just was a one day once occurrence. Today I had a little brown spotting but hardly anything I was due to have my 6 week ultrasound this Friday so my nurse said I was still ok to do so and didn't move it up they said they are more concerned with the volume and if your cramping neither of which I had it was just when I wiped once.
