Pregnant after 35

Into

Hi everyone! I'm 38 and expecting my third. It was a surprise but we are very happy. My 2 boys are ages 8 and 10. They are 16 months apart so I don't really remember my pregnancies. I feel like they passed in a blur. My first dr appt is next Tuesday (when I'm officially 6 weeks). I'm a nervous wreck. If i experience stomach pain (mild) i panic thinking its a miscarraige, if I don't have it I feel like its a miscarraige because my symptoms aren't there. I was never this paranoid with the other two. I think it's my age. There's so many negative reports about being older and pregnant. Anyway thanks for letting me ramble. I'm due November 5 and look forward to "talking" with everyone

  • Thank you! You are right, we worry about these LO for the rest of their lives but I need to relax. I'm sure once that dr appt is over I'll feel better

  • Congratulations! I know how hard it is not to worry but don't let the age stuff get to you. You will see there are many healthy pregnant ladies over 35 here to lend support!
