new to THIS section.... just starting out

hello all. im working on a divorce (thats taking forever!) and i still have another month till our next court date to decide child support so im BROKE as hell! weve been out on our own for 2 months now and im struggling to adjust financially. ive got a really cheap apt for myself, my daughter and our 2 dogs and ive got a roommate to help with the rent. i know once this child support goes thru we'll be just fine but does anyone have any advice for the transitional period.....even after we get child support... it should keep us good but im finishing up a degree so i cant work a ton to begin with. i feel bad she cant have the same lifestyle as before.
