I may have to write a letter after today's service, j/k.

I ordered food for lunch since Jo is all about not sleeping today. The guy gets here and I sign my receipt, and I ask about my diet. He was like it's in the car. Cool. He comes back up and was like, are you sure you ordered a diet. Um it's on my receipt that i already paid for. He was like oh. Then he kind of looked at me like uhm this is awkward. He then offered to go grab me one from a gas station. Thanks dude, since I'm bouncing a baby trying to get her to sleep. He did come back with a bottle, just not the same as a fountain.

I was a bit frustrated since I had already tipped the guy, and paid $2 for a diet. And then he was looking at me like um your not getting a soda....

Vent over.

Almost as terrible as them not wrapping shredded lettuce outside your bread...ahhh the horror!

Hope it was still delish...I have never eaten there.

Only after I looked at him like I paid for it. And the location is closer than a gas station. Sonhe technically didn't have to go to a gas station. If it wasn't for the cold weather, we would have walked. I guess I can't explain it, but it was the look in his eyes like really? Yeah he fixed the,mistake, but begrudgingly. So I wouldn't say stellar customer service, I'd say covering my ass so she doesn't complain customer service.

I'm not calling to complain since it was probably an honest mistake, and maybe not even his since someone on ssite packs the to go orders. It's just adding to my frustrating day.

I would have just taken the regular and drank it anyway. I'm kind of a pushover when it comes to minor mistakes regarding food (like they put the dressing on the salad instead of on the side, i got regular fries instead of sweet potato, etc.) Sometimes I'll just point it out and say it's no big deal and that often gets us a few dollars or the dish comped, but most of the time if i like what i got I'll still take it.

I think OP is saying that she ordered a meal with a soda and the guy didn't have a soda for her. He then questioned whether she actually ordered one, and she did plus already paid for it. Um, yeah, I'd want my soda too, especially if I paid for it. IMO it's no different than ordering a sandwich and them forgetting that. The soda was part of her meal. He should have brought it. It was a mistake, and these things happen so I wouldn't go as far as writing to Jimmy Johns (I've never heard of them before tb btw), but I would also expect my soda.

This same thing has happened to me multiple times. Maybe my JJ delivery guy is now yours! It's also frustrating because JJ already charges so much extra for delivery, so I feel your pain
